We are a President’s Distinguished Club!

NightVision Toastmasters is a 2017 President’s Distinguished Club!

July 1st is the beginning of a new Toastmasters (fiscal) year, and time to tally up our Distinguished Club Program (DCP) points for the past year. Having achieved 9/10 points, for the year 2016-2017, we are officially a President’s Distinguished club! This is the highest award that a club can achieve.

Congratulations to all club members, especially Brian Mak and Patricia Oikawa for completing 2 speeches each in June to finish their CC, and the executive team, for helping the club reach this great achievement! We should all be very proud of our club!

Let’s keep up the momentum and do it again next year!

Jason Yu

Jason is the Immediate Past President of NightVision Toastmasters. He first joined toastmasters to overcome his self-limiting belief that engineers are not good communicators. But what he found to be even more valuable were the opportunities in the club to develop leadership skills, whether it be taking on a simple meeting role, or being a club officer. Outside of toastmasters he is equally passionate about personal development, and he hopes to use this passion to inspire those around him.
