This week’s meeting theme is Music and Memory, hosted by Melissa.

I am sure you have all experienced this: hear a song, and you are immediately reminded of a certain time in your life or a certain event. Melissa will tell us more about this seemingly magical ability, and some of the research that explains why music and memory are so interconnected.

Jason Yu

Jason is the Immediate Past President of NightVision Toastmasters. He first joined toastmasters to overcome his self-limiting belief that engineers are not good communicators. But what he found to be even more valuable were the opportunities in the club to develop leadership skills, whether it be taking on a simple meeting role, or being a club officer. Outside of toastmasters he is equally passionate about personal development, and he hopes to use this passion to inspire those around him.
