About Night Vision Toastmasters
A friendly Toastmaster club in Vancouver, with a casual and welcoming vibe.
What we are about
Night Vision Toastmasters gives our diverse membership the chance to get together every week and support one another in developing speaking and leadership skills.
Each Thursday evening meeting runs two hours, with a short break in the middle to chat, make new friends and ask questions. Both prepared speeches and impromptu speaking are normally part of the agenda, along with helpful evaluations. We also often run short workshops and host guest speakers.
Our members are a mix of people from all backgrounds, supporting each other with intelligence, kindness and humour.
Recognition
We are proud to have been named a President’s Distinguished Club, the highest honour a Toastmasters club can achieve, as well as a Select Distinguished Club.
Meet our executive team
Every year our club nominates members and holds elections, giving members the chance to grow their leadership skills as part of the Night Vision Toastmasters Executive Team.

President – Som
Guides the general operation of the club, presides at meetings, builds ties with other clubs and sets club goals.
VP Education – Khal & Clare
Manages education programs, ensures members progress toward their goals, schedules meeting roles and assigns mentors.
VP Membership – Mustafa & Vlad
Sustains and grows membership, welcomes new members and makes sure they get an orientation.
VP Public Relations – Emily
Looks after communication inside and outside the club, and promotes us through our social media accounts.
Secretary – Jacques
Manages club records and administration, and records the minutes of executive meetings.
Treasurer – Nitheesh
Manages club finances, collects dues and pays the bills.
Sergeant at Arms – Winnie
Looks after the meeting room and equipment, and makes sure every meeting is ready to go.
Immediate Past President – Patricia
Supports the incoming president and provides continuity from the previous year.
