Plastics in the Ocean – September 20, 2018

We’ve all heard the stories in the news – there’s a massive patch of plastic swirling around the Pacific Ocean.  The plastic itself consists of massive pieces to micro-particles.   Not only is it an eyesore, but there is harm to marine life and ecosystems as the material degrades and is consumed.

What can be done?  What is our responsibility?  Come to our next meeting to hear what our members have to say.
